Doris Greenhouse

Gil bought Doris' Greenhouse in 2000 after working in the corporate world in commercial property development and management. He has always had a passion for being in the outdoors and working with his hands rather than being in an office, behind a desk. Although Doris Greenhouse already had an established customer base, he takes pride in growing and maintaining the customer base while continuing to pass along his knowledge in the horticulture and botany fields. Carolyn was an elementary school teacher for 30 years, and recently retired from Ninety Six Elementary School. The greenhouse is now her "classroom", as she has transitioned her care for children to her care for the plants and flowers. You will find her cleaning, watering, and planting around the Greenhouse most days. She always has a big smile on her face and chats with customers any opportunity she gets.

Jean started with Doris' Greenhouse almost 30 years ago, working with the Elledges and utlizied her years of experience by helping the transition of Ownership. We are grateful for her many years of contribution and hard work. She is passionate about taking care of quality plants and specializes in mixed container creations.

Kellan is now in his 3rd season of working at Doris Greenhouse. He recently graduated from Piedmont Tech with a Horticultural Degree and strives to never stop learning, you can always spot a notepad and pen around him. He is an extremely fast learner and just like the rest of the team, extremely hardworking. He was offered a year-long internship at Longwood Gardens in Pennsylvania and plans to utilize his experience at Doris Greenhouse to further his career.
